Adult Hockey Program
The Sharper Edge ADULT Program is for those skaters who have demonstrated the skating skills required to advance into our hockey program. All players must be able to skate forwards, backwards, and stop. Each player must have full Hockey equipment. Classes consist of power and edge drills, stick and puck handling, and organized scrimmages. If you have questions about your readiness, you may speak with the Director, Dawn DiMinico.

Class Content:
Our 1 hour class is divided into a 40 minute lesson and a 20 minute supervised scrimmage. During the lesson portion, the class will be taught various skating skills and stick and puck work. Edge work and proper technique will be the main focus, which will teach the most effective approaches to gaining power and speed. There will also be a significant amount of time spent on passing drills, shooting exercises, and stick handling fundamentals. During the scrimmage, there will be instruction regarding play positioning, as well as implementing the skills taught during the lesson.
Enrollment:
All classes are on a first come first served basis. If the class is not full, Walk-Ons will be accepted. A completed application, release form and payment must be provided before a skater is allowed on Sharper Edge ice.
