The Sharper Edge Hockey Program is for those skaters who
have demonstrated the skating skills required to advance into our
hockey program. All players must be able to skate forwards and backwards
and have completed the Sharper Edge Learn to Skate program or an
equivalent Learn to Skate program. If you have questions about your
child’s readiness, you may speak with the Director, Dawn DiMinico.
Each player must have full Hockey equipment.
Classes consist of power and edge drills, stick and puck handling
and organized scrimmages.

are no walk-on make-ups allowed.
Bring a Friend
At the close of each session, the skaters will be allowed to invite a
friend to come skate with them during class. Parents of the skaters are
allowed to be “friends.” Each friend must provide a signed
release form and be in full equipment. You will be notified in writing
when this will be offered.
How to Dress
It is easier to control your child's body temperature if you dress him/her
in layers. Have your child wear loose comfortable clothing so that his/her
movements will not be restricted. Snow pants are recommended to keep the
skater from getting wet when he/she falls. Waterproof gloves or mittens
are best so that his/her hands stay warm and dry.
Cancellations
Especially during the winter months, weather related cancellations will
be recorded on our answering machine at (978) 369 - 0088. Each session
might have its own cancellation dates. Please look for scheduled cancellation
dates on the "Application" under NO ICE and write them down!
